And Spring Continues to Creep In
The large cherry tree is continuing to fill in with blossoms. It should be in full flower by the time someone arrives in a week.
A view of downtown and the Olympic mountains from the back deck. Excuse the power lines...
And the daffodils are starting to blossom in the backyard.
And the camelias are in blossom and will be beautiful for a week or so, until their flowers turn brown and begin to rot.

The Second week of February
Here we have a small view of the Olympic Mountains beyond downtown Victoria (and across the water). It is actually a little too sunny today to get a good view of them.
A beautiful spring day on the 10th of February. If the weather holds and it creeps up another couple of degrees I'll head down to the ocean for a swim.

Our House
This is the view from our front steps, unfortunately it is an overcast winter day, so you can't see the mountains or the ocean (other than a tiny slice).
Our little house on the hill. A 1927 Hollywood Hills-style bungalow overlooking downtown Victoria, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Peninsula.
